This single semester module provides an opportunity to plan and develop a continuous reflective portfolio which will enable you to make the most of skills necessary for undergraduate success. It will include: - recording success - visioning success - learning styles - creative thinking - time and self management - goal planning-objective setting - project management - networking - employment development - continuation strategies. On completion of this module, students should be able to:
- maintain a record of their academic and personal development as undergraduates
- own a vision of what their success at the University should include
- identify approaches and strategies that assist their own learning
- apply a range of techniques to increase creativity
- demonstrate an awareness of strategies for self and time management
- develop their own goals and set objectives for achieving them
- employ a range of strategies for successful management of projects
- appreciate the interpersonal skills required for, and benefits from, networking
- show an awareness of career management through CV development.
